About

My name is Teah Kemp Weight and I write romance I’m comfortable sharing with my teen children. Some call it clean, other’s call it sweet, and lately the description of kisses only has come into play. There are so many names for books without explicit content that it is hard to land on one that does not offend someone. So here is a list of what one will and won’t find in my books no matter the name you put on it.

Outside of my work as an author I am a very busy mother of seven children ranging from kinder to senior in college. I have six boys and a one girl thrown right in the middle. I am married to my prince charming who is a professor of American History. We live in South Texas, but have lived in multiple other states as we chased educational and occupational opportunities.

I grew up in on a ranch in northeastern Utah where I learned to work hard and appreciate the great outdoors. I love both mountains and oceans, but find my heart continually pulled back to the mountains and hope to one day make a home near them again. And I would not mind the chance to own horses again as they were a pivotal part of my childhood.

Now days I enjoy a good book and a cup of hot chocolate—or cold since it gets really hot here. I have also grown to enjoy puttering in my garden and giving a little love to my citrus trees.

Currently I have five published works, but have plans for 2-3 more this year. I also hope to expand into other areas of writing such as RomCom’s and Suspense, but for now I need to write down all the ideas already taking up space in my head.
